Think Spring!

With the snow melting and temperatures rising, it's safe to say that Spring is finally here! The first green buds on the trees, the sound of children playing outside, and driving with the windows down are the joyful signs that the long winter is over.

Not only is Spring a time to enjoy the beautiful weather, but is also a time to get our lives in order.  We start working on our lawns, washing our cars, and doing our spring cleaning.

It is also a great time to do some spring cleaning on your teeth.  If you haven't been in to see us over the long winter, you may be overdue for your six month hygiene appointment.  Or maybe it has been too cold and snowy to get in to have those fillings done.

We find that spring is a popular time for kids to start their orthodontic treatment.  It is nice to get them started right before their summer break. And with our Fastbraces, they could be done with treatment in six months to a year!

Whatever your dental needs, Spring is a great time to get organized and make an appointment.  We hope to see you soon!

  2. I'm so glad for spring and summer. The weather has been so good, the kids didn't even complain about going to the dentist last month. Or they could finally just be getting used to it, which would be even better! Thiago | http://www.smilesbylakeside.com

  3. Thanks for the friendly reminder! It does seem like teeth are neglected in the winter. I have two kids to get into braces this summer, so they have less to do during the school year. At least neither of them are afraid of the dentist!

  4. It would be great to find a new family dental clinic. I just haven't been too satisfied with the place I have been going. I would love to see what other places have to offer.

  5. I agree that summer is the perfect time to make sure the kids teeth on track. Without school there is no reason to miss appointments! I think that dental health is very important and I'll make sure my kids get their necessary dental procedures done.

  7. My sister just recently moved to a new area and she told me it's time for her semi-annual checkup! She wants the best dentist she can find for her and her kids. Do you have any suggestions for her on finding the right one in her new area?

  8. Family dentists can be hard to come by. Especially if you have kids like I do. My kids don't get along with very many people, and it makes finding a good dentist hard! http://www.neufamilydental.com/family-dentistry.html

  9. My brother is trying to find a new dentist for his family. They haven't been in the area long enough to look, either. It's going to be a tough job, with all the options they have. But regardless, they're going to have exactly what they need. Thiago | http://www.aspendentalassociates.com/

  11. I love it when I see great family dentistry practices up on the web. I think it's a great way for people to check out a clinic and getting to know the practice and the staff better. Many people are looking for a new dentist after moving and searching the web is the first place they start.

  12. I think spring is always a good time for dental work. It is like getting ready for the summer in a big way. I don't take oral health lightly, so having a seasonal reminder like this is good for me.

  13. You're absolutely right. Spring is the perfect time to go back to the dentist. It's the time of year when you're getting everything in your life put back together. As for me, I haven't been for a few years, so I really need the motivation to go back. My kids need to too.

  14. I had never really thought about spring time being the average starting time for kids to get dental work done. I think I got my braces in the spring now that I think about it. I wonder if that's just what happens or if it is done on purpose?

  15. There seems to be a noticeable difference between a regular dentist, and a family dentist. The family dentist just seems overall more likeable. I don't know, maybe it's just me who thinks that, but I really feel like that's the case. http://www.bristoldental.com/

  18. Like you suggested, I always get my teeth cleaned in the spring. This is always one of the most crucial checkups, since it's after the holiday season. Let's just say I've had my fair share of cavities. My family recently moved, and we're looking for a good family dentist in our new area. Hopefully we find a good one that we really like. Thanks for the post! http://www.lindanicholsdentistry.com/About-Us/

  19. It makes sense to have your teeth worked on in the Spring. We're already doing a lot of cleaning and work anyways, we might as well get our teeth checked out as well. I don't go to the dentist as much as I should but my wife makes it a point to get our kids' teeth checked. They're more important than me anyways. http://www.goaod.com/treatments

  20. I would agree that spring is a great time to get your life in order! A big part of that can include getting your teeth cleaned and making a dentist appointment. Oral health is so important and is essential for a happy lifestyle. That's why spring is such a great time to make an appointment! http://canyondental.org/

  21. I don't know how other people keep track of their dental appointments, but I've found spring to work as a good reminder. I used to have a problem with going every year, but now I keep track much better. I think I can feel the difference in my teeth! | http://www.southlandsmiles.com/

  22. This spring I would like to take my husband and myself in for dental check ups. It has been a little while since my last one and we would like to be preemptive in our fight against cavities. I just hope that we don't have too many problems that show up on the X Ray when we finally do go for an appointment.

  23. I love seeing the smiles on all the dentists when I take my children to the dentist. I think it is good that they also practice good dental hygiene because they are working on people that need that help already. I think it is important to have a good staff that can relate and help people have better brushing habits. http://dentistwoodburymn.com

  25. I had no idea that 60% of kids who suck their thumbs longer then usual, can experience root resorption. That worries me a lot because my youngest son just started sucking him thumb. I will make sure I do what I can to help him stop. Glad I was able to find this family oriented dentistry. You really helped me with one of my problems. http://www.carpenterdental.com/our-practice/
